Gary Neville is a product of United's prolific youth team. Bury-born Gary, who's brother Philip is also in the first team squad, captained the club's 1992 FA Youth Cup-winning side. He made his England debut as right-back against Japan in the 1995 Umbro Cup.
Gary made his debut, aged 17, as a substitute in UEFA cup tie v Torpedo Moscow in September 1992, managing to solve United's right back problem after injury to Paul Parker and a loss of form from David May. Gary also possesses a phenomenal long throw which he uses with great success to get United's attacks moving.
Gary lost his regular Manchester United place to his brother in the last
games of 1995-96 but still had an exceptional season filling in anywhere
in United's defence and playing a big part in England's Euro 1996 campaign.
He now has 2 Premiership medals and a FA Cup winners medal in his possession
and a brilliant future ahead.
